Note on Husband: Fitzherbert Wheatley BLOOMFIELD - shared note

Fitzherbert's father was the employer of Mary Louisa Graham when her illegitimate son Thomas Graham was born in 1905. Thomas Graham was adopted in about 1907 by Charles Alfred Povey and his third wife Jane (nee Ruff). His name was changed from Thomas Graham to Thomas Albert Povey. Fitzherbert died intestate living apart from his wife, probably in one room, above a car dealership on Holland Park Road, on the corner with Princedale Road, in Kensington, London. The dealership was called Archway Cars, Motor Car Agents. He died of TB, so was probably in very poor physical condition. He probably had very few assets at the time of his death.

Note on Wife: Eugenie Guillaumette Sophie ESTRADE - shared note

Before her death Eugenie was living as a boarder with Mrs. Freeby at 17, Portland Road, Holland Park, London; just around the corner from her estranged husband. She died intestate and all her assets went to her unmarried sister Jeanne Estrade who was living close to her at 37, Clarendon Road, Holland Park in the Tani Yukio Boarding House. Her death was reported by A A Pitcairn of 56, VIctoria Street, London, SW1. This was the address of the Law Firm that her sister-in-law Constance Bloomfield referred to in her will.
